From Survivor to Marathoner, here is my story

Maria is an AMAZING human with a massively inspirational story.  At the time we met I had just taken several months off of running and I remembered thinking to myself, this woman would do anything to run like she ran before her sepsis...yet she runs almost ever day anyways .  She's got an incredibly powerful story, book and is just a joy to talk to.  She also pushes herself to a limit that olny those with a fierce inner constitution can achieve....She's a badass, lets be honest!!

I just wanted to send a HUGE thank you to @PapaliaMeier for getting me to join her in doing my running streak.  I learned a lot about myself and at the same time got back some of my running mojo!!!  

I'm honestly telling you that I was in a dark place until I found you one day on the sepsis support group.   And after I read your book I knew I was going to be ok.  I was so depressed thinking I would not be able to walk correctly again.   When I accidently stumbled on one of your post, I can honestly say that you gave me hope and brought me out of my depression.  

Congratulations on your recent endeavors-you turned challenges into strenghts and are inspiring so many others,   Well done!  Cheers! 

Hey Maria!  I hope you are doing wonderful!  I just wanted to give you a little podcast feedback. I was running with this lady this weekend in the middle of no where North Georgia Mountains.  I never mentioned my podcast to her at all.  I try to be organic with it and just hope people find it,  She mentioned listening to you.  She told me this- " I was thinking about not running anymore.  Then I listened to the podcast you did with The Toeless Runner" She said that she now wakes up and thinks how fortunate she is to be able to run - " I'll never take it for granted" 

Made me very happy!

Couldn't have been more blessed to grow up with such an amazing role model as Maria , her journey and her story gave me courage to do things I wouldn't normally think I would be able to do! Her book definitely shows this as well and gives anyone the same impression.
