I met Shan when I was on Instagram and I saw she was using my butterfly as her profile logo. Curious as to why I reached out to her and started to learn more about her and her story. My name is Shaninlea Visser, Shan for short, and I live on the South Coast of Durban South Africa. I would love to share my story with you, it's my fight for survival since 2017 and my will to live. I became a quadruple amputee due to septicemia in January 2017.
